Color masterbatch is mixture with high concentration of color prepared by resin and pigment or dye. Color masterbatch is an aggregate with super-constant pigment or dye attached to the resin. As the pigment contacts with the air directly in the process of storage and usage,it may occur moisture absorption，oxidation, agglomeration and other phenomena, and when used directly, the product surface may appear color point, hue dark, and color easy to fade. Through the mechanical processing of masterbatch in the production process，the pigment is refined,fully mixing the pigment,resin carrier and dispersant, so that the pigment is isolated with the air and moisture,so as to enhance the pigment weather resistance and improve dispersion and coloring of pigment. With a small amount of masterbatch and uncolored resin blending, you can achieve the colored resin or products with designed pigment concentration.

The pigment is refined in the process of producing the masterbatch to improve the dispersibility and tinting power of the pigment. Special color masterbatch carriers and products have the same raw materials,with good compatibility,and pigment particles can be well dispersed in the plastic products after heating and melting.

Note

lt should be careful when using color masterbatch to achieve the required color， which may cause changes of color aberration and color tone.

Color masterbatch will absorb moisture after stored for some time, so it is recommended to be dried before use after long time storage.
