Introduction of the products

The diffuse scattering functional masterbatch is produced with polyethylene as matrix resin and special material as additive by scientific ratio and reasonable process. The polyethylene applied has good optical performance and good blowing molding membrane strength. The diffuse scattering functional masterbatch realizes the uniform scating of light in the greenhouse while maintaining the luminous flux.

Requirement of the product

With the increasingly diversified requirements for the facilities covering materials of plant cultivation, and the improving of the coverage scale, more and more farmer households realize that the conventionally preferred high transparency (low haze value) thin membrane is not suited for all plants. Especially for the covering facilities for the cultivation leaf vegetables and flowers plants in areas with abundant illumination, the excessive light exposure will result in the withering of plants and the decreasing of yield. So,it demands the manufacturer of greenhouse membrane to product a product to achieve the softness of light in greenhouse and maintaining the luminous flux simultaneously. Basing on the requirement, we devised the diffuse scatteringfunctional masterbatch to solve the problems.

Product features

The diffuse scattering is phenomenon of the random transmission of light to different directions after passing the transparent medium, i.e. the subdued light. It is worthy to note that the diffuse scatting belongs to luminous flux part so it will not affect the utilization of light by plants.

1 Adding good quality diffuse scattering additives, decreasing the ratio of direct light in greenhouse, and increasing the ratio of scattered light;

2. On one hand, increasing the light transmittance of greenhouse membrane, and improve the luminous flux; on the other hand, the diffuse scattering effect will markedly improve the haze (scatteredlight);

3. The combination of soft diffuse scattering light and the direct light decreases the side effect of sunlight exposure; the diffuses catter increases the area receiving light, improves the plants absorption of light, and the yields of plants.

4. The product will not bring bad influence to the other mechanical performance of membraneand it is mutual compatible with other functional masterbatchs.
